Urban Planner & Geographer, UN-HABITAT
David is an urban planner, geographer and an active advocate of open data and mapping.
He is on a mission for the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) to work on projects about disasters, crises, and sustainable urban development. His current assignments are in Tacloban, Ormoc, Guiuan, Zamboanga, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Iloilo and Silay.
He was formerly a professor at UP Diliman, and led the Philippine Planners Organization, and the Philippine Geospatial Forum.
